It is dry, so how it behaves does not depend on who last oiled it or how heavily. It is washed rather than replaced, so an inspection costs nothing and can be as frequent as the riding deserves. And it is honest about its limits: no drop-in element makes a standard 390 Duke quicker, and on a single homologated within the A2 category the ceiling belongs to the engine and its approval.
