DescriptionThe whole story▼

Change a lever and your hand notices before you do. After years with the original clutch lever on a Street Triple 675 R, your fingers know exactly where the bite point is, and a new blade with a different shape, length or reach moves it, if only slightly. Accossato's EST333 is a CNC-machined aluminium clutch lever for the R of 2009 to 2016. It fits at the original clutch mounting and has an adjustable reach, so you decide where the new bite point should sit.

Key Features

  • For the Street Triple 675 R, 2009 to 2016
  • Fits at the original clutch mounting
  • Adjustable reach to the grip
  • Anodised CNC-machined aluminium
  • Black hub with a blade in seven colours
  • Standard length approximately 138 mm; short and long blades in selected colours
  • Rigid construction, no hinge

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato starts the EST333 as aluminium stock and brings it to shape on CNC machines before anodising it. Two colours result: black for the hub, where the pivot sits with the reach adjuster next to it, and your choice for the blade. Between them there is no joint, and the machined edges are clean and even. A lever built this way develops no play of its own, so once you have learned where the clutch engages, that point stays put. Since the colour is part of the anodised surface, it lasts on a control that your fingers touch on every ride.

The First Miles With a New Lever

Give yourself a short period of getting used to the new lever before heavy traffic or a track day. Start with the reach: set the EST333 so that the blade meets your fingers where they naturally fall, then sit on the Street Triple 675 R with the engine off and pull the lever a few dozen times to feel its travel and shape. Next, with the engine running, find the bite point in a quiet place, pulling away and stopping several times until the take-up feels predictable. If you have chosen a different length from the original, expect a slightly different effort: a long blade gives more leverage and a lighter pull, a short one a firmer pull worked by fewer fingers. After a few rides the new lever becomes the normal one. If the bite point still feels awkward, fine-tune the reach rather than your riding, and confirm that the clutch still frees completely with the lever pulled to the grip.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the EST333 for the Street Triple 675 R from 2009 to 2016, fitted at the original clutch mounting; the same lever also appears in its list for the standard Street Triple 675. For the brake side of the R, the matching lever is the EDF035, listed for the same years.

Road Approval

The EST333 has no documented German ABE; its use is intended for the circuit.
