DescriptionThe whole story▼
H25301AP is the race seat for a PC69 that keeps its standard rear subframe. It bolts to Honda's own mounting points, which makes it the straightforward conversion: the tail comes off, this goes on, and nothing structural changes.
Key Features
- Single race seat unit for the standard Honda subframe
- Uses the original subframe mounting points — no frame modification
- Avio Fibre Prepreg, autoclave cured
- Takes the OEM-subframe foam range: FM2510H, FM2550H, FM2560H
- Reversible — the standard tail can go back on at any time
The Reversible Conversion
This is the version to choose for a bike that is not exclusively a race machine. Everything that comes off to fit it goes back on again: the standard tail, the lighting, the pillion provision, the number plate mount. That matters for a bike that does track days in summer and gets sold with its road bodywork in autumn, and it matters for anyone who wants to try racing without committing the machine to it. The Carbonin subframe route, H25300AP with AL2505H, goes further and does not come back so easily.
What the Conversion Actually Involves
Less than people expect. The standard tail unbolts, the lighting and number plate assembly come away with it, and this seat goes onto the same mounting points with the IN2503H bracket setting its position. No cutting, no drilling and nothing done to the frame that cannot be undone. The one thing worth doing carefully is checking the tail sits square before the foam goes on, because afterwards the fixings are underneath it.
Foams Are Not Shared Between the Two Seats
Worth stating plainly, because the part numbers look similar: the foams for this seat are FM2510H, FM2550H and FM2560H. The ones ending in 1 — FM2511H, FM2551H, FM2561H — belong to the Carbonin-subframe seat H25300AP and will not sit correctly on this one. Check the last digit when ordering.
Fitment
For the Honda CBR 600 RR PC69, 2024 to 2026, with the standard Honda subframe.
Road Approval
None. The unit has no lighting or number plate provision.
