DescriptionThe whole story▼
Buying a brake lever and a clutch lever separately means paying twice for shipping, matching two finishes by eye and hoping the adjuster feel is the same on both sides. KL210 is Bonamici Racing's answer for the ZX-10R: both levers as one kit, one part number, one order.
Key Features
- Brake and clutch lever supplied together, so the pair matches in finish, adjuster action and feel from the first ride.
- Half-lever colour is chosen at purchase from Bonamici's range at no additional cost — the coloured tip is part of the price, not an upsell.
- Racing and straight half levers are offered as alternatives to the standard shape for riders who want a different blade profile.
- Machined from solid high-strength aluminium alloy for durability under repeated adjustment.
- Anodised against fuel, cleaner and brake fluid. Made in Italy, part number KL210.
The Argument for Replacing Both at Once
Standard levers on a ZX-10R are long, fixed in shape and made to bend rather than fold. The first time the bike falls over in a paddock, one of them snaps. Aftermarket levers fold back on impact instead, which is why they survive incidents that would otherwise end a day. Doing one side only leaves you with a folding lever under one hand and a rigid one under the other, and the mismatch is noticeable every time you reach for the clutch.
Adjustment You Will Actually Use
Reach adjustment matters most to riders whose hands are at the edges of the average — small hands struggling to reach the blade with two fingers, or large hands crowding the grip. Setting both levers to the same span is what makes two-finger braking repeatable, and repeatability is what lets you brake later without guessing.
Fitment and Compatibility
Bonamici lists this kit for:
- Kawasaki ZX-10 R — model years 2016 through 2026
It spans two generations of the model, so it carries over if you change bikes within that window.
Road Approval
No ABE or EC type-approval is published for these levers and none is supplied. Hand levers are an item German inspectors do look at, so if the machine is registered, raise it with your examiner.
