Sprint Filter P08 Air Filter for Road & Track – MV Agusta Brutale 675 (2011–2015) CM135S

A three-cylinder engine sits in an unusual place, and the intake is where you notice it. A twin draws air in two large separated events; an inline four draws almost continuously, one cylinder always filling. A triple falls between the two — 240 degrees between firing events, so the demand pulses without ever fully pausing. The Brutale 675 was MV Agusta's first attempt at the layout, and the Sprint Filter P08 CM135S is the element that serves it and every 800 that followed.

Pulsing but never resting

That firing interval matters for a filter because the pressure drop across an element rises with flow, and the triple gives it no long gaps in which to recover. Held in the upper half of the rev range — which is where a 675 MV wants to be — the element carries a demand that is both high and nearly continuous. Twice the filtering surface means it works at a smaller fraction of its capacity throughout, rather than only at the start of a hard run.

A short production run, a long-lived part

The 675 Brutale was built for five years and then quietly gave way to the 800. The filter did not change: CM135S covers all eleven MV Agusta triples in this family, from this bike to the current Superveloce and Turismo Veloce. A part shared that widely stays in production and stays findable, which matters more on a model that stopped being made a decade ago than on a current one.

Care and cleaning

Blow it through from the clean side with compressed air, working outwards. For a deeper clean, wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse until the water runs clear, and dry fully in air — never with heat, never with a flame. Refit dry; there is no oiling step.
