Measure the old part against them before ordering. The end eye carries the whole load of the damper into the chassis. The end eye carries the entire load of the damper into the chassis, which is why it is machined rather than cast. Top eyes with an integrated preload adjuster are listed as one part.

Genuine Service Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 60220-52 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. The published dimensions are dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 40 mm, dimension c 26 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 60220-52

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 40 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Finish: Black

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/60220-52_01b34b3f-fcfe-423f-8cab-1b767b6364ca.png?v=1788881123
