Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00329-23. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00329-23

Category: Circlips

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00329-23_39139100-9eb4-4279-936a-16879b81a053.png?v=1788869119
