DescriptionThe whole story

The Streetfighter V4 S with an aligned-pattern right-hand switch block, cut from a single billet of Ergal.

Key Features

  • Ducati Streetfighter V4 S (2020–2024)
  • Aligned hole pattern
  • Complete street control set
  • Black anodised Ergal 7075
  • CNC-machined from solid
  • Sealed switch elements
  • Plug-and-play on the original connector

One of Two Patterns

Aligned bolts rather than staggered, decided by the master cylinder clamp. On an S, frequently modified at the lever end, the check is worth making.

A File Rather Than a Mould

Machining programmes cost almost nothing to change where injection tooling is a fixed investment. That economics is why a part exists for this exact specification.

Grit, Not Water

Rain dries out of a moulded joint. Fine debris does not, and once past a clipped cover it sits against a terminal for the life of the assembly.

What Meets the Kerb

The bar end, then the block. A moulded shell cracks along its joint where a milled one takes a scuff and continues working normally.

Slightly Heavier

A billet component against injection-moulded plastic. The difference is small and it goes the wrong way, which is worth stating rather than glossing over.

Sealed Within the Body

Contacts enclosed rather than covered. On a naked bike with 208 horsepower and no shelter, the housing does the whole job of keeping the electrics dry.

Semi-Active Öhlins

Electronically managed damping on a chassis with no fairing. The suspension corrects continuously rather than sitting at a single compromise setting.

Twenty-Eight Kilograms

Ducati's downforce figure for the biplane winglets at 270 kilometres an hour. On a bike with nothing else holding the front down, it is engineering rather than decoration.

Its Own Airbox

With no fairing to feed it, the Streetfighter draws through openings beside the headstock. Ducati redesigned considerably more than it removed.

Forged Wheels on a Naked Bike

The S's rims remove rotating and unsprung mass at exactly the point where a short, powerful motorcycle needs it least. On a Streetfighter, which already changes direction faster than most riders expect, the difference is felt at every input rather than only under acceleration.
