DescriptionThe whole story▼
MV Agusta's Brutale 675 is a three-cylinder naked bike with racing genes and very little regard for comfort. Its bar sits low and far forward. Moving it back within a 25 millimetre range and up in five millimetre steps turns it into a bike that can be ridden to the mountains rather than only around them.
Key Features
- Fore and aft: 3.6 mm steps, up to 25 mm in each direction
- For 28.6 mm tapered handlebars, 22 mm adapters optional
- Fits top yokes with 10.5 mm holes
- CNC-machined from EN AW 7075-T6, upper clamp 6082-T6
- Supplied with the model-specific adapter kit ABK-14
- Road legal under ABE No. KBA 91440, no acceptance inspection
Type B3
Gilles lists the Brutale 675 of 2012 onwards under the type B3 and includes the adapter kit ABK-14.
Aluminium, milled
The body is machined from EN AW 7075-T6, the upper clamp from 6082-T6, both marked with the approval number.
Road Approval
ABE No. KBA 91440 covers these risers on the MV Agusta Brutale 675. The document notes: the original 28.4 mm handlebar is used without the reduction kit; they are approved with the original handlebar; with shims the height may be changed by up to 20 mm. The approval itself makes them road legal without an inspection; the KBA number is milled or lasered into the part, and the certificate downloads from this page.
Scope of Delivery
In the box: the Gilles 2DGT risers made for this model, the model-specific adapter kit ABK-14 and the shims for the height adjustment. The ABE document downloads from this page.
Fitting
Fitting needs no drilling: the risers use the standard points. After the first setting, ride a short distance and check the position again; the clamps can be reset in minutes if you want the bar a little further forward or back.
