DescriptionThe whole story▼
Yamaha listed the MT-07 Pure as a version of its own for 2023 and 2024, and Accossato follows that in its catalogue with a separate entry. Bikes in this part of the market are often second machines: used through the summer, taken to a circuit once or twice and then put away when the weather turns. How a motorcycle is stored matters as much as how it is ridden. Accossato's FC124 is the quick-release fuel tank cap listed for the MT-07 Pure, machined from aluminium with a coloured pin in the pawl.

- Spare pawl available on its own
- Check the application list before ordering
- No German ABE documented; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines this cap wholly from aluminium on CNC equipment and describes it as robust and durable, with a design that is new rather than borrowed from the original. The quick-closing pawl is the mechanism: one movement opens the MT-07 Pure's tank and one closes it. The colour sits in the pin inside that pawl and is chosen from six options as the order is placed. Because the pawl is also sold on its own, a damaged one can be replaced without touching the rest of the cap.
Before the Cover Goes On
Putting a motorcycle away for the winter is mostly a matter of doing a few unglamorous things properly. The machine gets cleaned and dried, the battery is looked after, the tyres are taken off the cold concrete if you can manage it, and the bike is left somewhere with air moving through it rather than sealed under plastic in a damp corner. The tank should be closed, and closed properly, for the whole period. A cap that is only half engaged lets moist air in and out with every change of temperature, and that is the one thing you do not want happening for months. Before the cover goes over the MT-07 Pure, press the cap home and check it, the same way you would before a session.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato gives the MT-07 700 Pure for 2023 and 2024, which is what this product covers. The standard MT-07 has its own entry for the same cap. At Inter-Pace the FC124 is also catalogued for the MT-07 Y-AMT and the MT-09. Please compare your machine with the application list before ordering.
Road Approval
No German ABE and no parts certificate are documented for this cap, so it is supplied for closed courses. The MT-07 Pure keeps its standard cap, normally opened with the ignition key, for use on public roads.
