DescriptionThe whole story▼
A limited bike like the MV Agusta Rush 1000 often spends more time under a cover than on the road, and each ride begins with a moment of careful attention. Much of that attention goes to the clutch: the first selection of first gear, the first metres out of the garage, the first junction. Accossato's ESH011 replaces the Rush's standard clutch lever at the original mounting. It is CNC-machined from aluminium, adjustable in its distance to the grip and listed for the 2020 model year.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the MV Agusta Rush 1000, 2020
- Fits the original clutch mounting in place of the standard lever
- Adjustable reach
- Standard blade of about 138 mm, plus short and long versions in some colours
- Aluminium, CNC-machined and anodised, black hub
- Blade in black, blue, red, orange, gold, silver or green
- Rigid blade, no folding joint
- Comes in an Accossato box
Construction and Material Quality
The ESH011 is produced by milling a solid aluminium blank on CNC machines and anodising the result. Machining gives every lever the same dimensions, so the pivot and the reach adjuster in the black hub line up precisely with the clutch mounting they were designed for. The blade, anodised in the colour you choose, runs in one piece from the hub to its tip. It is a fixed lever with no folding section, which keeps the mechanism as simple as a clutch lever can be.
After Months Under a Cover
On many motorcycles with an oil-bathed clutch, the plates can cling to each other after a long rest. Select first gear with the lever pulled in, and the bike may still try to creep forward, sometimes with a clunk. A few habits make the first minutes calmer. Let the engine warm up in neutral. Pull the lever fully and hold it for a few seconds before selecting a gear. If the bike still pushes, a common remedy is to switch off, engage a gear, pull the clutch in and rock the bike gently back and forth until the plates part. For all of this, a lever within easy reach helps, particularly with cold hands at the start of the season. With the ESH011 you set the distance to your gloves once, and the lever is in the same place whether the Rush 1000 has rested for a week or for a whole winter.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the ESH011 for the Rush 1000 in the 2020 model year. It fits the clutch assembly the bike was delivered with and replaces the original lever. For the front brake, the list offers two options, the EDF011 for 2020 and the EDF099 for 2019 to 2023; compare both with your Rush 1000 before choosing the partner for this clutch lever.
Road Approval
No German ABE has been documented for this part. It is sold for track use.
Scope of Delivery
