Measure the old part against them before ordering. Axle clamps are machined so the axle clamps without pinching the fork out of alignment. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes. Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21630-10 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 55 mm, dimension c 56 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21630-10

Category: Fork Parts

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 55 mm

Dimension C: 56 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21630-10_f42c76a6-83bf-428b-86c4-59815ab1cb2e.png?v=1788879750
