DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 007 lifts the Ninja 500's air injection solenoid out of the wiring with nothing left in memory.
Key Features
- Kawasaki Ninja 500 (2024–2026)
- Takes the secondary air solenoid out of the circuit
- No warning on the instrument panel
- Plugs into Kawasaki's own connector
- Nothing cut, nothing spliced
- Standard valve refits at any time
Four Hundred and Fifty-One Cubic Centimetres
Kawasaki enlarged the Ninja 400's twin for 2024 and gained torque everywhere without losing the character that made the smaller engine likeable.
The Same Trellis Frame
Carried over from the 400, which was the right decision because the chassis was never the limiting factor on that motorcycle.
Where the Popping Starts
Unburnt mixture leaving the cylinder meets fresh oxygen in a hot header and ignites there. It has nothing to do with fuelling, nothing to do with the silencer and everything to do with a valve most owners do not know exists.
What the Unit Contains
A resistance matched to the solenoid coil, potted in a sealed body with Kawasaki's own connector moulded on. There is nothing to configure and no way to fit it wrongly.
Blocking the Hose Achieves Nothing
The reeds stay in place and the ports stay open behind them. A blocked line redirects the problem rather than removing it, and the residue simply collects somewhere else.
The Cost of the Shortcut
A jumper wire produces a resistance the controller was not looking for, and the resulting code is harder to diagnose than the original absence. Doing it properly is cheaper than explaining it later.
What the Unit Is
A resistance matched to the coil, potted in a sealed body with the correct connector moulded on. There is nothing to adjust and no way to fit it incorrectly.
The Sound Is Not a Fault
Riders frequently assume something is wrong, because an engine making unexpected noises is unsettling regardless of whether anything is. Nothing is, and the noise has been produced by emissions hardware all along.
Before the Dyno, Always
Air arriving in the exhaust after combustion shifts what the sensor reports, and a map written from that run describes the plumbing as much as the engine. Every fuelling decision taken afterwards inherits and compounds the error.
