DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is the one Akrapovic builds when the rulebook, not the road, sets the limit. The Evolution Line (Titanium) S-T7E1-APLT for the Triumph 765 was developed exclusively for competition circuits: 141.6 PS at 13,000 rpm, 87.1 Nm, and a noise level of 103.6 dB measured by the FIM method — comfortably inside the FIM limit of 107 dB, which is the number that decides whether a bike is allowed out of the pit lane.
Key Features
- Titanium throughout, in several different alloys, each section chosen for what that section has to do — performance, weight or durability
- 103.6 dB at 5,000 rpm measured by the FIM method, below the 107 dB FIM noise limit
- 141.6 PS at 13,000 rpm and 87.1 Nm on the Akrapovic dyno
- Special link pipe collector with a resonator, developed for this system rather than adapted from another
- Header geometry taken from Akrapovic's Grand Prix work; exhaust flanges cast in the company's own foundry
- Handmade carbon fibre heat shield and a black-coated aluminium muffler bracket
- Coated muffler outer sleeve and a new decal technology with a higher temperature threshold — both aimed at surviving a race weekend, not a photo shoot
Built to a Race Regulation
Most exhaust systems quote a decibel figure. This one quotes the method as well, and that matters: the FIM measurement procedure is what a scrutineer applies, and 103.6 dB against a 107 dB limit is the margin that gets a machine through noise control on a bad day. Akrapovic's engineers carried out the measurement themselves.
The rest of the system reads the same way. A resonator in the link pipe collector is not a styling feature; it is how a full system is tuned to a specific engine without giving up top end. The flanges are cast in-house rather than bought in, which is why the header angles fit the 765 triple without persuasion.
Two Things to Check Before Ordering
ECU remapping is mandatory with this system — not recommended, mandatory. Budget for a dyno session with the exhaust.
And the system is compatible with a right-passage oil pan only. If the machine has the other version, this exhaust will not fit. Check before ordering rather than after.
Fitment and Compatibility
S-T7E1-APLT covers the Triumph Street Triple 765 S, R and RS and the Daytona 765 from model year 2020 through 2026. Because no standard-exhaust comparison run was recorded for this system, the power and torque figures above are absolute values with the Akrapovic system fitted, not gains over stock. That is stated here rather than converted into a percentage that would not be true.
Road Approval
None. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use, and Akrapovic developed it exclusively for competition circuits. It is not a legal exhaust on a road-registered motorcycle in the European Union. Fitting it to one is the owner's decision and the owner's responsibility.
