DescriptionThe whole story▼
A 125 two-stroke does not forgive a lazy left hand. The power arrives in a narrow band and disappears just as quickly, so a moto on a TC 125 is a continuous conversation between the gearbox and the clutch: up a gear out of the corner, a slip of the lever to keep the engine singing, down two for the next turn. Count those movements across twenty minutes and the number runs into the hundreds. Accossato lists the AGS14 for the TC 125 of 2014 and 2015, a silver clutch lever in the original form.

Construction and Material Quality
The AGS14 is built to give a rider back what a crash took away, which is what Accossato means by an original spare parts type. The blade repeats the outline Husqvarna used on the TC 125, so the point at which the clutch begins to bite lands exactly where the left hand has learned to find it, and the bike feels unchanged from the first lap after the repair. Accossato developed the range so that replacing a control stays cheap, and says the way these levers are produced leaves them more resistant after damage or a fall. The listed colour is silver, and no further specification is published.
Keeping a 125 on the Pipe
Riders coming to a small two-stroke from a four-stroke are often surprised by how much work the left hand does. On a TC 125 the clutch is not only for starts and stalls; it is a way of holding the engine in its band when the gearing is between ratios, of picking the front wheel over a rut, of recovering drive when a corner turns out tighter than it looked. That volume of use puts demands on the lever that a road rider never imagines. It also means small faults get noticed instantly. A blade that has moved inwards after a fall shortens the travel the fingers have to work with; a pivot that has dried out makes the movement gritty, and grittiness in a control used hundreds of times a moto becomes fatigue by the end. Look after it accordingly. Take the lever off every few meetings, wipe the pivot bore and the bolt, put a trace of fresh grease on, and check the hole has not worn oval. Make sure the blade returns completely on its own and that the clutch fully disengages when the lever is pulled. And replace anything twisted rather than straightening it, because a lever that has been bent back is a lever waiting for the next fall.
Fitment and Compatibility
On the TC 125 Accossato gives the AGS14 for 2014 and 2015 and the AGS17 for 2018, with nothing listed for the seasons in between, so the two codes do not compete on any single year of this model. The AGS14 itself is one of the wider-ranging entries and is also catalogued with us for the Husqvarna FC 250, the TC 250 and the KTM 125SX. The brake side of the TC 125 has the AGD316 across 2014 to 2022 and the AGD14 for 2018. Accossato's CNC levers for this bike are the B8283, the C7283 and the C7284.
Road Approval
We hold no approval paperwork for the AGS14, meaning no German ABE and no test mark, and the lever is therefore listed for racing and competition.
