Performance & Build Quality

Spark engineered the GRID-O half system around the Panigale V4's high-revving Desmosedici Stradale architecture. The stainless steel connecting pipe manages the extreme thermal loads generated by the V4's close-packed cylinder arrangement, while the titanium silencer body keeps unsprung and overall mass to an absolute minimum. The result is a system that sharpens throttle response noticeably over the stock unit and adds an unmistakable, race-derived exhaust note measuring approximately 104 dB.

To extract the full performance benefit, Spark recommends running a dedicated race map or a custom dyno tune following installation. This ensures the fuelling reflects the improved exhaust flow and unlocks the complete power gain.

Installation Notes

Because the GRID-O half system retains the original headers, fitting is straightforward and well within the scope of a competent home mechanic. Two points to note before you begin: the pillion footpegs must be removed prior to installation. On Euro 5 models, the plastic cover on the original collector requires light filing by a few millimetres to allow the Spark mid-pipe to seat correctly.
