TTX Technology and Racing Construction

The TTX cartridge principle has proven itself across World Superbike, MotoGP support classes, and top-level circuit racing for years. Öhlins brought that architecture directly into the FKR 122: the pressurised closed circuit keeps the damping fluid in a controlled, gas-separated environment so cavitation is eliminated and the fork behaves identically on the first lap of a session as it does on the last. The newly specified piston, working alongside the stiff 8 mm piston rod, responds to small inputs without sacrificing authority under the enormous braking forces the S1000RR K67 generates. The result is a front end that communicates honestly and allows the rider to carry more speed into corners with genuine confidence.

Setup and Tuning

Three spring rates — 9.0, 9.5, and 10.0 — ship with the kit, covering a wide range of rider weights and track configurations without the need for separate spring orders. The system's architecture supports further tuning through oil viscosity, spring preload, and compression and rebound damping adjustment, giving a technician or experienced rider the scope to dial in precisely the balance they need. Öhlins recommends installation by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre for optimum results, and a fitment guide is included in the box.
